Welcome to Bodywork Traveler…my calling and my passion.  I began my career working in the field of Computer Science as a Support Services and Infrastructure Director for a Fortune 500 company. Looking for a new challenge after 12 years, I shifted my focus to education. I was blessed to become a faculty member at Northeast State Community College teaching Computer Science for five years before becoming the Dean of Technologies.

After four years as Dean, I was ready for new opportunities. So, I returned to school to study massage and bodywork therapy. I chose this new field because during both my careers in business and education, I repeatedly met people who were suffering from chronic pain due to working long hours often under stressful conditions. Now, I’ve discovered my true calling as a licensed massage therapist (LMT) in Tennessee and Virginia, and a licensed massage and bodywork therapist (LMBT) in North Carolina.
