My name is Donna Farrell, and I’m a licensed massage therapist with a passion for improving the lives of others through therapeutic, accessible bodywork. As the founder of Bodywork Traveler, I specialize in mobile massage for workplaces, retreats, events, and aging populations throughout Northeast Tennessee and surrounding communities.
Massage is not just about relaxation — though that’s certainly part of it. For me, it’s about helping people move with less pain, reconnect with their bodies, and restore the sense of calm and balance that modern life tends to take away.
I’ve always been a traveler at heart. I ride motorcycles, love the open road and dirt trails, and have spent a lot of time coaching motorcycle safety courses. That sense of movement and freedom is what inspired my massage and bodywork practice. But unlike a traditional spa, my work doesn’t require you to come to me — I come to you.
Whether I’m working in a corporate office, a retreat venue in the hills, a senior living facility, or someone’s living room, I bring my full focus and presence to the session. I meet people where they are, in every sense of the word.
I offer is professional, therapeutic massage grounded in training, experience, and deep empathy. My practice focuses on:
such as wellness retreats, corporate functions, weddings, and private gatherings
including chair massage days and ergonomic workshops
for individuals in assisted living, independent living, or hospice care
for those who prefer a traditional setting (available by appointment through Nova Vita Salon and Spa)
Bodywork Traveler is committed to making high-quality, holistic massage and bodywork therapy accessible in homes, workplaces, and communities. We serve individuals of all ages and abilities—with a special focus on aging adults and high-stress professionals—offering personalized care that nurtures body, mind, and overall well-being.
That photo of me on a motorcycle? It’s not just for show. I’ve been riding since I was four years old. For me, it represents joy, independence, and adventure — all things I try to bring into my work as well. I believe in creating a safe, supportive space for healing, wherever that space may be.
If you’re planning an event, supporting employees, or caring for someone who could benefit from compassionate touch, I would be honored to work with you.
